Dose Independent BMW Service is a family owned and operated shop since 1987. Steve Dose and Brenda Dose started from a single bay shop in East county over 21 years ago. Growing that single bay shop into 8 service bays, a climate controlled clean room for transmission/engine repairs or building, 4-wheel laser alignment rack and a 1200 horse 200 MPH chassis dyno. The shop is equipped with all of the latest factory diagnostic/programming equipment (GT1,SSS)
along with specialty tools to perform all of your BMW service and repairs in house. Remember we only work on BMW's so we know them inside and out. Located so close to the 8

Steve Dose has been repairing and rebuilding the ZF automatic transmissions found in many BMW's for years. At one time he was a teacher at city college passing on his knowledge. This made the decision for ZF industries to make his facility A ZF authorized dealer very easy when looking for a southern California distributor. This gives Steve access to parts and data that even the BMW dealers don't have. Being a direct dealer to ZF also makes it possible to get parts, fluids and complete transmissions at a lower cost than the dealer. We can then pass this saving on to our customers.

Dose Independent BMW Service is also an authorized Dinan performance center. Steve has been using his Dyno Jet chassis dyno to make is other passion come true for years. Making engines run hard, fast and reliably. This has shown in his numerous off-road engine packages that have won championships over the years.
